Well work continues.
It's odd how that's what I write about now, looking back all I ever used to write about was things that weren't work. Now admittedly when I started this I wasn't working, but I think it's indicative of just how much my current job utterly dominates my life that it seems to be all I ever write about. It really does dominate my life too, I have to so little free time during the week that I only essentially manage to maintain myself (ie eat, bathe and sleep) and the weekends tend to be devoted to sleeping and getting ready for the next week ahead.
I know I've said it many times before, and I know I'm still quite attached to the (admittedly diminishing) amount of money I bring in, but I need to move on. This isn't going anywhere. Except I actually enjoy this job, and that's something pretty fucking unusual as far as I can tell. Ah well.
So what's new? Not a lot; still haven't managed to see Speed Racer over two weeks since it's release, still not started marathon training even though I know I should, still reading a pitifully slow two pages and then falling asleep... basically not much. Haven't even had much chance to play Guitar Hero (in any of it's incarnations) let alone anything that demands a little more concentration. Whatever will I do when the PC version of Mass Effect comes out?
Probably won't even notice.
On the plus side, Saturday is Eurovision day! I've done pitifully little preperation for it so far, haven't even seen any of the entries, but I'm sure it'll all be awesome on the night. And on top of that it's a Bank Holiday weekend, so I get three days off instead of two! Woohoo!
