The Importance of Being Idle

Pretty much nothing at all happened on Monday, work wise, until about four o'clock when I suddenly had a job which, quite naturally, was a rush job.
I started a run of 4am starts today, and yesterdays rush job came back to bite me in the arse when the magazines I'd shipped from Warners needed delivery. So even though I had a reasonable amount of parcels and other mail to deliver, I had a good couple of hours of extra magazines to deliver! On top of that I had to play taxi for the daughter of the person doing the collections this afternoon, so I did NOT get an early finish, as seems to be the norm about these here parts. Still, tomorrow is another day and we can only hope, eh?
On top of that, we're careering wildly towards holiday time, which is pretty exciting. It's not that I have anything in particular to do, just a lot of not being at work and messing about with games and toy soldiers and movies and such. Which is good enough for me.
