Buggeration

Today was a four am start. Not a problem right, do them all the time? Normally, yes, because I'm finished and back home by 2am at the latest. Not today, today the guy who was supposed to be coming to do the afternoon work (my relief if you will) was stuck in London. The result? I got home just after five pm. It's been a hell of a long day, and I'm gonna feel the effects tomorrow, which is another four am start! Gonna need a lot of caffeine tomorrow, I can tell...
Resultantly I've not done a great deal else today, although I did get some writing done in the hanging out about waiting, although it was also so hot I felt like I was melting. It was surprisingly hard to find somewhere to park that was out of the sun, even for someone as familiar as the odd corners of King's Lynn as I've become. Eventually I parked round the back of some superstores in the retail park, in the shade of some trees. Made a hell of a difference.
