Long Gap, Short Update

I've got to go to hospital today. Nothing serious, just my now regular check up, but I must admit that I don't really want to go. I just want to stay at home and do nothing. Which is why I have tomorrow off, so I can do that then!
It's been a long two weeks. I've been working the by now traditional insane hours, getting decently paid and then having the bank snatch the money away from me because well, they're a bank and that's what they do. Some days work goes better than others; last Friday for instance I got volunteered for extra deliveries and wasn't finished 'til gone half eight at night, and yesterday morning nothing went right from the moment I got into the van (it wouldn't start) and I didn't get to make my first drop until a ridiculous five hours later!
On the plus side, Shaz bought us a PS2 and both Guitar Heroes, and two guitars! So I've been rocking out quite regularly and can now not only play more than a feeling almost whenever I want to ('cos obviously sometimes I'm at work and stuff and can't play then) but I not only five star it on Hard I'm actually now playing on Expert! Eek! Guitar Hero indeed! Also the PS2 has opened up a whole world of games that I've never been able to play before, a disturbingly large handful of which I bought over the past weekend!
We tried to do a little Christmas shopping over the weekend, but it just made me sad. Every year as I get older I seem to find the whole Christmas thing more and more depressing. So that wasn't a great way to spend the weekend, but there we go. I guess there's gonna be plenty more of that over the next few weeks as we begin Christmas in earnest...

PStwooooooo that's rad! I miss having one. In the split I took the 360 and Wii (which I had bought) and all the games (some of which weren't mine) and he got the PS2 (which was his to begin with) and all those games (of which some of them were mine...and nostalgic presents from him...etc.)

*SIGH*

Hope your check-up went well! :D

What happened about your labrythitis and how long did it take to get rid of? I got hit by a hockey ball seven weeks ago and then got infected mine still hasn't cleared up - it's mild now but I still can't sleep on my side - it's driving me crazy sleeping like a dead egyptian!
