Trying to Make Ends Meet; You're a Slave to Money then You Die
It's been that kind of mood for a while now. Don't get me wrong, I couldn't be happier with my life, but I've been stressed about where the money is coming from, how I'll pay the rent and it's not been a particularly fun time, as this stress subconciously seeps into everything. Still I seem much more sanguine about the whole thing now, not that anything has actually changed where finance has concerned, I've just asked for help. I say 'just' like it was easy, it really wasn't, but it was absolutely worth doing and I'm glad it's done.So what else?
Well it's snowed. And I don't mean the UK's usual slight dusting of icing sugar type snow, I mean actual proper the worst snow we've had in twenty years snow. It's been a pain to be honest. The days where it was so bad I couldn't work weren't too bad (although obviously you don't get paid for the not working, see above) whereas the early morning's in the snow or particularly the late night trying to get back in what I shall laughingly call blizzard conditions was particularly unpleasant and stressful, not to mention bloody tiring.
That was all last week though, and over the weekend (well, mainly on Friday) the snow just miraculously disappeared to be replaced with some reasonably decent weather over the weekend although it appears to be raining quite gently but steadily at the moment.
And erm, that's it? As ever I'm sure there's been a lot more going on, both in my head and without it, but for the life of me I can never think of anything when I sit down to blog these days.

Oh! You've returned. That was a long hiatus. How are things, anyhow? I'm dating an English guy, so naturally the one time I was in England came up and I realized I hadn't talked to you in ages.
Fallout 3!! Lucky :D My roommate is playing that. I've been caught up in MadWorld, for work, which is an awesome game, but I'm just sick of the work part of it, heh.
I still haven't spent much time in any of the Guitar Hero games because Rock Band continues to be so compelling. My new favorite song is Carry On Wayward Son, I think, although I always play My Sharona, Suffragette City, Are You Gonna Be My Girl?, annnnnd probably some other things.
Listening to any interesting music lately?
Other news: http://duckduckgame.com I bought a domain -- w00t.
