The Importance of Being Idle

Wasps = Evil

Wasps are usually like chavs: they're lagered up, they've got their mates with 'em, they're looking for a fight and they don't care who or what with. This makes the one I found in my bathroom doubly unusual. Firstly because I'd cleaned the bathroom floor to ceiling yesterday afternoon, so if there were any wasps in there I woulda noticed, and secondly because it was sitting quietly on the toothpaste trying to get some sleep. Needless to say, it was soon ejected from the building.
I did indeed do laundry, and then settled down to watch the first half of Lawrence of Arabia. I realise its a movie that's over forty years old, but I've never seen it before, so this is being a cool experience. It's also an incredibly long experience, and whilst it doesn't feel long, by the time I got to the intermission the afternoon was gone, so I'll watch the rest of it tomorrow. Or sometime. Very cool movie though.
